Phil Valentine's Screenplay Wins Festival Competition

WESTWOOD ONE syndicated talk show host PHIL VALENTINE won first place in the COLORADO FILM FESTIVAL's screenplay competition for his script "DEREK DICKENS & THE DREAM."  The script follows a middle-aged man who turns a mid-life crisis into becoming an international pop star with unexpected results.

VALENTINE joked, "I've been sitting by the phone waiting for a call from HOLLYWOOD.   I already have ROBERT DOWNEY, Jr. planned for the lead."
