Brown Celebrates 37th Year

JOHN BROWN, KYW-A/PHILADELPHIA Chief Meterologist and Senior Studio Anchor at Metro Networks (PHILLY) celebrates his 37th year in broadcasting this month. RICHARD NIXON was president when JOHN started his career as a jock at WBUX-A/DOYLESTOWN,PA. Stops along the way included WPST/TRENTON and WIOQ/PHILADELPHIA. He began doing traffic 27 years ago, and in 1990 added the role as weatherman, receiving his degree in Broadcast Meterology in 2001.
