Midem Ruler Steps Down

BRUNO CROLOT -- REED MIDEM's Dir./MIDEM & Music Markets for the annual music industry gathering in CANNES -- is leaving the company after five years, according to a report in MUSIC BUSINESS WORLDWIDE. He previously worked in sales and business development at SONY MUSIC, ORANGE and UNIVERSAL MUSIC FRANCE. 

The dates for next year’s MIDEM, which will celebrate the confab’s 50th anniversary, were recently announced to take place from TUESDAY, JUNE 28th to FRIDAY, JULY 1st, 2016.

The 2015 edition of MIDEM was moved to the summer for the first time, away from its traditional annual slot in JANUARY and FEBRUARY/

CROLOT said running MIDEM was an “incredible journey, a true adventure and very intense ... a great challenge" that introduced him to some "wonderful people."

REED MIDEM Entertainment Division Dir. JEROME DELHAYE will take over as CROLOT''s interim replacement.
