Flipping
COMMONWEALTH BROADCASTING will take the local programming of Classic Hits WAVJ (104.9 THE WAVE) and Sports WPKY-A/PRINCETON, KY off the air at the end of JULY, reports CBS affiliate KFVS-TV/CAPE GIRARDEAU-PADUCAH. WAVJ will flip to a simulcast of Country WWKY (HOWDY 97.7)/PROVIDENCE, KY-EVANSVILLE, IN.
The AM station has gone to a simulcast of the FM side in preparation for the change and is now up for sale.
