What do you get the woman who has everything? How about a star on the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME?

That's the honor being bestowed on MARIAH CAREY, who will receive the 2,556th star on the fabled walkway on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5th at 11:30a (PT) right in front of the W HOLLYWOOD HOTEL at 6270 HOLLYWOOD BLVD.

Honoring the singer will be EPIC RECORDS Chairman/CEO L.A. REID, along with OSCAR-nominated director LEE DANIELS ("Precious," "The Butler") and filmmaker/producer/director BRETT RATNER.

The event will be livestreamed on www.walkoffame.com.

A private invite-only reception will follow at BEACHER'S MADHOUSE at the HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL.
