The UK's SAGA RADIO, which owns four radio stations in ENGLAND and SCOTLAND, will auction off the stations, reports the SUNDAY TELEGRAPH.
SAGA (not the U.S. broadcaster) owns two stations in the MIDLANDS, one in GLASGOW, and the license for an as-yet-unbuilt station in the NORTHEAST of ENGLAND. The company's stations target an over-50 audience, similar to the target audience for its travel and insurance businesses. SAGA is owned by private-equity firm CHARTERHOUSE.
