KYYS Staging Contest For New Morning Host

In the wake of ENTERCOM Classic Rock KYYS (99.7 KY)/KANSAS CITY morning host LARRY MOFFITT's exit to crosshall sister Country WDAF (NET NEWS 9/12), 99.7 KY has announced the "MAX, TANNA, & YOU" talent search to find the new KYYS morning show host.

Beginning today (9/18), people are invited to submit their best 60-second audio or video clips at www.kcradiogod.com. Over the course of several weeks, the public will be allowed to vote for their favorites. The three people with the most votes will be auditioned live on-air during a full morning show shift with MAX and TANNA. The person selected for the job will be offered an ENTERCOM standard employment agreement with a starting annual base salary rate of $50,000, benefits, 401k, etc.

KYYS PD GREG BERGEN stated, "This is a legitimate search. We are looking for the most entertaining person in KANSAS CITY. We don’t care if they are a lawyer, a waitress, a doctor, a bricklayer, or a librarian. We are searching high and low to find the best person for the job."
