AEG LIVE has acquired BALTIMORE’s RAMS HEAD LIVE!, a 1,500-seat capacity music venue that opened its doors in 2004 and has hosted more than one million guests and concerts featuring the likes of THE BEASTIE BOYS, JAY-Z, JOHN LEGEND, PAT BENATAR, AVETT BROTHERS, FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, ED SHEERAN and THE BLACK KEYS.
“Acquiring RAMS HEAD LIVE is a perfect fit for our AEG Live portfolio of venues and serves to strengthen our presence in the MID-ATLANTIC region as we continue to expand our footprint,” AEG LIVE CEO SHAWN TRELL said. “We look forward to operating this special venue that means so much to BALTIMORE and building upon the great reputation that it has earned throughout its history.”
“After nearly a year of discussions with AEG, we are pleased to announce that the future of the RAMS HEAD LIVE! is in great hands," RAMS HEAD AT BALTIMORE Managing Partner BILL MUEHLHAUSER said. "We are excited to have AEG continue our goal of putting BALTIMORE on the music map. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to a facility we built from the ground up, we are excited for our team members who will begin their next chapter as AEG employees.”
“As we move on to pursue other growth opportunities, we are thankful to our dedicated staff, our promotional partners, the loyal music fans, and the tremendous artists who have graced the stage, RAMS HEAD GROUP Pres. ERIN MCNABOE said. “It’s been an honor to serve the BALTIMORE market and the music industry at RAMS HEAD LIVE!”
