iHEARTMEDIA/MONTGOMERY, AL announced that CHRIS COLEMAN has been named SVP/Programming for the cluster effective August 31st.  He will oversee Urban WZHT (HOT 105.7), Urban AC WWMG (MAGIC 97.1), and Gospel WHLW (HALLELUJAH 104.3).  

BIRMINGHAM/SVP/Programming TOM HANRAHAN said, "I am extremely excited to welcome CHRIS to the iHEARTMEDIA MONTGOMERY family.  COLEMAN is a strong programmer with a contagious passion to win.  His programming experience will make a strong impact and will allow him to ramp up quickly and build immediate relationships with the programming and sales team."

He previously worked with RADIO ONE as PD of WOSL( OLD SCHOOL 100.3)/CINCINNATI.  His other programming experience includes stops at WFXE/COLUMBUS, WBLX/MOBILE and WBHK/BIRMINGHAM.  COLEMAN was also a finalist for the 2011 NAB MARCONI AWARD for Medium Market Personality of the Year.
