ENTERCOM Triple A WMMM/MADISON, WI is going through some changes.
First off, longtime WMMM (TRIPLE M) MD and night talent GABBY PARSONS is retiring from day-to-day radio. Her last day is FRIDAY, AUGUST 28th. However she will still host the Live and Local Hour featuring music from MADISON on SUNDAYS at 8p. Her 7p-12m weeknight show will be filled with part-timers until a permanent host is named.
Station OM DAVID MOORE said, “GABBY’s golden ears and unwavering support of local music has been critical in the success of TRIPLE M.”
In light of PARSONS’ exit, morning talent and APD JONATHAN SUTTIN will be adding MD duties. He will be taking calls on THURSDAYS from 10a-12n.
MOORE said, “JONATHAN is the heartbeat of Triple M. Not only is he a phenomenal morning talent but he is one of the hardest-working people I have ever seen. He will excel in his expanded role. He remains a Bears fan in WISCONSIN, but because he is so darn charming people around here forgive him for it. ”
Further, JESSE GARON, formerly with MAGNUM BROADCASTING in PORTAGE, WI, is the new midday air talent working 10a-3p weekdays.
MOORE said, “After a six-month search, JESSE was clearly the right choice for this critically important live show. He is a musicologist with a tremendous work ethic and he sounds great.”
