Kudos to the team at UMG NASHVILLE and the gang at CAPITOL for LUKE BRYAN’s “Kill The Lights” being perched atop the Country and all-genre album charts for a second consecutive week, after moving another 99,000 equivalent album sales last week, according to NIELSEN MUSIC.
That follows BRYAN’s strong debut week of 345,000 units (NET NEWS 8/17) and makes “Kill The Lights” the first Country album to spend more than a week at #1 in two years. Ironically – or not – BRYAN also accomplished that feat with 2013’s “Crash My Party.” BRYAN’s two-week totals for “Kill The Lights” have now topped 400,000 in pure album sales.
