WTHT/Portland, ME Shuffles Mornings As Dave Winsor Exits

BINNIE MEDIA Country WTHT (99.9 THE WOLF)/PORTLAND, ME debuted a new morning show TODAY (8/24), launching “THE WOLF WAKE UP CREW WITH ANDY, MICHELLE AND PAUL,” which teams night host and eight-year station vet ANDY AUSTIN with current morning co-host MICHELLE TAYLOR. New to the station is PAUL HUNT, who was discovered at a local comedy showcase. AUSTIN replaces DAVE WINSOR, who exited last week after 15 years with THE WOLF.

“ANDY and MICHELLE have been hysterical together, creating some very funny, high energy morning radio,” said WOLF PD STAN BENNETT.  “ANDY is incredibly talented; this was a role he was destined for.” Commenting on WINSOR’s departure, BINNIE/NEW ENGLAND GM and VP/Radio Operations PATRICK COLLINS said, "This was a hard decision and one not taken lightly. DAVE WINSOR was well liked, a very good employee and made many contributions to the station over the years. We have nothing but the highest regard for DAVE". Weekend talent JEREMY DANIELS has been tapped to succeed AUSTIN in evenings, effective TODAY.
