Bill Simmons Says His Podcast Will Resume October 1st

Look for BILL SIMMONS' new podcast to launch on OCTOBER 1st.  The former ESPN commentator and GRANTLAND founder, whose "THE BS REPORT" podcast was distributed by ESPN AUDIO before his departure from the network earlier this year, tweeted, "FYI: my podcast returns on OCTOBER 1st. New name, new sponsors."

SIMMONS signed a deal with HBO in JULY, at which time it was announced that he would debut a Sports Talk show on the premium cable network in 2016 and would also be doing documentaries (along the lines of the "30 FOR 30" series he launched at ESPN) and video podcasts.
