Mary Shedden Upped To News Director At WUSF/Tampa

WUSF PUBLIC MEDIA, licensee of News-Talk-Jazz WUSF/TAMPA, Classical WSMR/SARASOTA-W280DW/BRANDON-TAMPA, and PBS affiliate WUSF-TV/TAMPA, has upped "HEALTH NEWS FLORIDA" editor MARY SHEDDEN to News Dir.  SHEDDEN, a former TAMPA TRIBUNE and TBO.COM Senior Reporter, replaces Interim News Dir. STEVE NEWBORN, who returns to his role as environmental and political reporter after two years in the temporary role.

“Many listeners may know MARY from her voice on the radio, but fewer may know she played such a pivotal leadership role behind the scenes, helping steer HEALTH NEWS FLORIDA to where it is today.
