DOWNTOWN MUSIC PUBLISHING has named JEDD KATRANCHA EVP, it was announced by CEO JUSTIN KALIFOWITZ. KATRANCHA originally joined the music publishing company in 2007, oversseing the creative services and sync licensing business from its inception.
During his tenure, KATRANCHA's team has developed integrated brand partnerships for its songwriting roster with ANHEUSER-BUSCH, APPLE CADILLAC, FORD, NIKE, SPRINT, VERIZON, VITAMIN WATER and more. In his expanded role as EVP, KATRACHA will now also be responsible for managing the company's creative strategies and operations.
"I've had the good fortune of working with JEDD for the better part of the past 15 years, watching him redefine the role of a modern music publisher," commented KALIFOWITZ. "The enormous impact JEDD has had on our songwriter clients and catalogs is only exceeded by the influence he has had in developing DOWNTOWN's culture and work ethic."
Prior to DOWNTOWN, KATRANCHA worked in creative services with SPIRIT MUSIC GROUP and in the copyright department at EMI MUSIC PUBLISHING. He began his career as a music supervisor with the firm SUPERVISION.
