WPTK/Raleigh Goes 'Just Right' Oldies

850 Now Just Right

The new format at CURTIS MEDIA's WPTK-A/RALEIGH-DURHAM is indeed Oldies as "JUST RIGHT RADIO." The station is also simulcasting on FM translators WW284CP/RALEIGH and W284CD/YOUNGSVILLE, NC (both at 104.7 FM).

As ALL ACCESS reported last week (NET NEWS 8/26), WPTK, which had been airing a News-Talk format companion to sister News-Talk WPTF-A as "TALKRADIO 850 WPTF," moved BILL LUMAYE's local afternoon show to 10a-noon on WPTF, and transferred the live airing of two hours of CLARK HOWARD's syndicated show to the 1-3p slot on WPTF.
