WXEG/Dayton Becomes ALT 103.9

iHEARTMEDIA Alternative WXEG/DAYTON has dumped “X103.9” and rebranded as "ALT 103.9 DAYTON’S ALTERNATIVE," under PD STEVE DENT.

ALT 103.9 will offer mainstream Alternative music programming, playing the biggest artists in the format like FOO FIGHTERS, GREEN DAY, LINKIN PARK, and THE BLACK KEYS while introducing the DAYTON area to new artists like TWENTY ONE PILOTS, WALK THE MOON, X AMBASSADORS, THE STRUTS and more.  

DENT said, “We are introducing a new home for Alternative music in DAYTON. These are the songs you know and the songs you’ll want to know. We are excited to be DAYTON’s home of all things ALT, pun intended.”

ALT 103.9 is currently running jockless. The station will feature a music intensive morning show weekdays from 6-10a. ALT 103.9 launches with more than one hour of commercial free music each weekday from at 8:30a-4:30p. Find ALT 103.9 online at www.ALTDAYTON.com.
