MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO Triple A KCMP (THE CURRENT)/MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL afternoon personality MARY LUCIA's ongoing nightmare with a stalker may finally be coming to a close, as the man has pleaded guilty to stalking and making terroristic threats on the same day his trial was to begin.

KARE-TV 11 reports, "HENNEPIN COUNTY District Court Judge WILLIAM KOCH conditionally accepted the guilty pleas entered by 56-year-old PATRICK KELLY of EDEN PRAIRIE, and set OCT. 13th as the date to formally accept the pleas and sentence KELLY. KOCH ordered a pre-sentence investigation and a mental health exam. Assistant HENNEPIN COUNTY Attorney DAN ALLARD asked that KELLY be held in jail without bail until the OCTOBER hearing and Judge KOCH agreed."

KELLY told the court, "Yes, I want to take full responsibility."
