RADAR 90: Radio Still Reaching More Than 230 Million In A Typical Week

Radio retains its position as a mainstay medium, reaching more than 230 million (93%) of all 12+ listeners in a typical week, according to ARBITRON's latest RADAR 90 total audience report. Other initials findings from the study indicate radio, over the course of a typical week is reaching:
94% of Adults 18+ who live in a household with an income of $75,000 or more
81% of Adults 18+ listening while in their cars
24% percent listening at work.
91% of all teens age 12-17 (compared to the approximate 22 million listeners from the internet and mp3 savvy generation).
ARBITRON will release RADAR 90, the complete radio audience results for the 56 networks next TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th.
