CMT To Become Cash Music Television Next Week

As a lead in to the SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th debut of its original documentary, "JOHNNY CASH: AMERICAN Rebel," (NET NEWS 8/18), CMT-TV will temporarily re-brand itself from Country Music Television to CASH Music Television beginning TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th. The weeklong tribute will be hosted by CASH super-fan KID ROCK.

The celebration of CASH's legacy is times to coincide with the 12th anniversary of his passing. Programming is set to include a showing of the cinematic film "Walk The Line," A "Throwback THURSDAY" video block, an episode of "CMT All-Time Top 40: Artist's Choice," and the first-ever JOHNNY CASH-dedicated "CMT Hot 20 Countdown."
