KBKS/Seattle's Bender & Molly Help Those Fighting Washington Fires

For The Firefighters

iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KBKS (106.1 KISS-FM)/SEATTLE morning duo BENDER AND MOLLY has been quite busy of late. The two teamed up with local TV personality JESSE JONES to collect cash and gas cards for volunteer firefighters and those affected by the WASHINGTON wildfires. Over $14,000 was raised in just six hours.  

BENDER then took a four-plus-hour trip to OKANOGAN, OMAK and TONASKET, WA to personally deliver the donations to volunteer fire departments and shelters. "Either people were running from the fire, or firefighters were chasing it," he said. "It's a scary scene. So many people were displaced and so many men and women have put their lives on the line battling these fires and we were just hoping to help out."
