Things Are Looking Up For Rent A Label's Barry Lyons' Wife, Fay

Over the weekend ALL ACCESS got an update on RENT A LABEL's President BARRY LYONS' wife FAY and her battle against acute myeloid leukemia, (NET NEWS 8/12), and the news was encouraging!

LYONS wrote: "31 days after entering CEDARS-SINAI HOSPITAL for treatment of acute myeloid leukemia, my wife was finally allowed to return home late this Saturday. A miraculous day for the family.
     
"I'd love to tell you that her ordeal is over, but the truth is, we are a long way off from any resolution. A return for another round of chemo is likely in as little as 4-6 weeks. Beyond that lies the possibility of more chemo, or possibly a bone marrow transplant. So this is more a pause to heal, to gather her strength for what lies ahead. Her immune system numbers continue to climb, and while they didn't all hit the numbers they wanted to see, the doctors felt the healing process would be better served at home. My mother, may she rest in peace, used to say 'a hospital is a lousy place to be if you're feeling lousy'. Apparently, FAY's doctors agree.
     
"She's nowhere close to full strength; so I'm still Mr. Mom for the foreseeable future. No problem - I've got cell phones and tablets and wifi, the work will get down. Heck, I'll make it a point to sleep at least once a week, whether I need to or not.
     
"Thanks to all for the good thoughts and prayers and encouragements; keep 'em coming - we ain't out of the woods just yet!"
