Two more members of the House of Representatives and one more Senator have been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 208 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 20 in the Senate.
Adding their support for the Local Radio Freedom Act in the House are Reps. MIKE BOST (R-IL) and KYRSTEN SINEMA (D-AZ); Sen. JOHN HOEVEN (R-ND) has agreed to co-sponsor the Senate version of the resolution.
