CBS RADIO News WBBM-A-WCFS (WBBM NEWSRADIO)/CHICAGO midday anchor SHERMAN KAPLAN is retiring after over 46 years with the station, reports ROBERTFEDER.COM. KAPLAN's last day at WBBM will be SEPTEMBER 22nd.
KAPLAN retired in 2004 but came back to work on a freelance basis and ended up on the air for another 11 years.He joined WBBM from WTVN-A/COLUMBUS in 1969.
