ENTERCOM Classic Rock WROQ(CLASSIC ROCK 101.1)/GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG, SC has announced a partnership with legendary rock band FOREIGNER, which is playing at the PEACE CENTER in GREENVILLE, SC on OCTOBER 18th.
WROQ and the band are giving one local high school the opportunity for a chance to sing "I Want to Know What Love Is" live on-stage with the band. The contest is currently open with entries being accepted through MIDNIGHT (ET) on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th.
The winning choir, along with six adults who accompany them, will sell a FOREIGNER Greatest Hits CD to the concert-goers at the show. The choir will receive a donation of $500 from the band for their school chorus program, with further funds raised from the choir's CD sales going to FOREIGNER’s charity partner, The GRAMMY FOUNDATION who raises monies for financially-challenged high school music programs in schools across the nation, helping them stay active so that schools can continue to offer their kids music education.
