MICHIGAN sax player STEVE MACKAY, known for his contributions to THE STOOGES' second album, "Fun House," and side work with the VIOLENT FEMMES, among others, has been hospitalized in critical condition in a BAY AREA hospital after complications from a recent surgery.

Colleague and local SAN PEDRO legend MIKE WATT has sent out an email with a GOFUNDME account to raise money for MACKAY, with a total of $4,458 collected to date from 297 contributors.
