Seattle Radio Vet Bob Rivers Joins Green River College Faculty

BOB RIVERS, whose radio broadcast career spanned four decades, including a 25-year run as a top-rated morning show host at KISW, KZOK and KJR-F in SEATTLE, has signed on for regular duties as an adjunct instructor at GREEN RIVER COLLEGE.
Commented RIVERS: "College radios is where I got my start, and I'm grateful to return and share what I can with the students. It's anhonor to work with bothTOM EVANS KRAUSE and CHARLIE HARGER, whose contributions to the industry are well known in SEATTLE. The talented and ambitious students I've met already at KGRG-FM and KGRG-1 are the future of media. GREEN RIVER's program is evolving and preparing students for an exciting new workd, with emphasis on using the fundamentals of great communiction while preparing for the exploding opportunities in the digital media marketplace."
This FALL, RIVERS will teach JOURNALISM 151 "Radio Production" and JOURNALIST 153 "Broadcast Newswriting."
