New iOS Version
APPLE's new iOS 9 operating system for the iPHONE and iPAD will be released TODAY (9/16) for download and installation.
The new version of iOS will include a FLIPBOARD-style News app, a low-power mode to extend battery life, an increase in the passcode from four to six digits, an enhanced Notes app, and split-screen multitasking capabilities for the iPAD Air 2 and upcoming iPAD Pro.
The new OS is considerably smaller in size than iOS 8, which is expected to ease download times, although users normally experience some delays due to volume on the first day of availability.
