Weekday AQH For Online Radio Networks Increases 38%

The latest ARBITRON comSCORE ONLINE RADIO RATINGS for JUNE '06 showed a 38% increase in Average Quarter-Hour (AQH) weekday audience for the five measured networks compared to the same month last year. The results released WEDNESDAY (9/20) show AQH increasing from 743,500 in 2005 to 1,022,400 for 12+ Persons (MONDAY-FRIDAY, 6a-7p).
More than six million different people tuned to the six online radio networks measured by comSCORE during an average week in JUNE '06 (MONDAY-SUNDAY, 6a-Mid). The midday (MONDAY-FRIDAY, 10a-3p) cumulative audience for the measured networks exceeds three million listeners.
Overall 12+ Cume (MONDAY-SUNDAY, 6a-Mid), YAHOO MUSIC/LAUNCHcast continues to lead the pack in the monthly ratings (2,329,300), followed by AOL RADIO NETWORK (1,648,200), CLEAR CHANNEL ONLINE MUSIC AND RADIO (906,600), MSN RADIO AND WINDOWSMEDIA.COM (825,900), LIVE365 (717,200), and ESPN RADIO (186,400). The total Cume in JUNE '06 for all six networks was 6,295,229.
