The RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS ASSOCIATION has elected nine members to its Board of Directors, including three new members, five re-elected members, and a new Chair-elect.  iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk KOA-A/DENVER News Director KATHY WALKER has moved up to become the 68th Chair of the organization, the fifth woman to achieve the post. 

MICHIGAN RADIO News Director VNCENT DUFFY was elected Chair-Elect; FLORIDA GULF COAST UNIVERSITY noncommercial News-Talk-Jazz WGCU-F/FORT MYERS Station Manager and News Director AMY TARDIF was elected Chair-Elect of the RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS FOUNDATION for 2015-16.

Also, TRIBUNE FOX affiliate KCPQ-TV (Q13 FOX)/SEATTLE News Director ERICA HILL was elected Regional Director for Region 1; SFGATE (SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE) Executive Producer BRANDON MERCER was re-elected in Region 2; MEDIA GENERAL CBS affiliate WLNS-TV/LANSING News Director JAM SARDAR was re-elected in Region 7; MEDIA GENERAL NBC affiliate WNCN-TV/RALEIGH-DURHAM News Director ANDREA PARQUET-TAYLOR was re-elected in Region 8; CBS RADIO News WCBS-A/NEW YORK News Director TIM SCHELD was elected in Region 11; NEXSTAR NBC affiliate WHAG-TV/HAGERSTOWN, MD News Director MARK KRAHAM was re-elected in Region 12; TRIBUNE CBS affiliate WTTV (TV) (CBS 4)/INDIANAPOLIS Managing Editor SEAN MCGARVY was re-elected as director at-large; and SINCLAIR ABC affiliate WEAR-TV/PENSACOLA News Director KIMBERLY WYATT was elected as a director at-large.

The organization also announced that it will explore continuing its partnership with the SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HISPANIC JOURNALISTS for the joint EXCELLENCE IN JOURNALISM conference in 2017 and 2019.
