WASHINGTON, DC has named a street corner after RADIO ONE founder and longtime local radio host CATHY HUGHES.
HUGHES was honored with the renaming of the corner of 4th and H Streets NE, where HUGHES' News-Talk WOL-A/WASHINGTON was located when she bought it in 1980, as CATHY HUGHES CORNER at the H STREET FESTIVAL this weekend.
