Noted EDM DJ/producer MAKJ will host REVOLUTION RADIO, a weekly podcast filled with his favorite tunes, exclusive edits and previews of upcoming releases. Spanning across 24 stations worldwide, the show will air every WEDNESDAY at 6p (PT)/3p (ET) on SIRIUSXM’s ELECTRIC AREA.
Since discovering his passion for DJing at 15, MAKJ has built his foundation under the guidance of a dance music legend, the late DJ AM. Last year, MAKJ hit a milestone in his career landing on DJ MAG’s Top 100. Around the same time, he released his remix of O.T. GENASIS’ “Coco,” which he performed live the following year at ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL with a special appearance from the rapper himself. This year, MAKJ continued the momentum with multiple collaborations including “Encore” with HENRY FONG, “Derp” with BASSJACKERS, and “Ante Up” and “READY!” with DEORRO -- along with his original “Generic,” released on SPINNIN' RECORDS.
MAKJ commented: “I remember the first time I heard one of my songs on SIRIUSXM's ELECTRIC AREA. It was one of the first moments where I felt like I had made it. To now be adding my show to their incredible roster of DJs is something I’m ecstatic to be a part of.”
