WFXH Hires Leslie Scott For MD/Middays

Leslie Scott is ready to rock

ADVENTURE RADIO GROUP Alternative WFXH (ROCK 106.1)/SAVANNAH, GA-HILTON HEAD, SC names LESLIE SCOTT as MD/middays. LESLIE was last MD/nights at (now-defunct) CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative WMAD/MADISON, WI.  She replaces middayer LEXIE KAYE, who exited in JUNE to COX Classic Hits WSRV/ATLANTA for mornings (see NET NEWS 6/9).

WFXH PD DUSTIN MATTHEWS said, "After several months of searching, we are confident that we’ve found the right person to help take ROCK 106.1 to the next level. LESLIE's energy, work ethic, and knowledge of the music are exactly what we wanted to fill the vacant role of MD/Middays here. Plus, it takes a load off my plate. Now I can get back to doing what a PD should be doing -- taking 2 hour lunches and myspace.

"I'm really excited to work with Dustin and the whole staff here to make ROCK 106.1 even better," said SCOTT. "And there's a beach near by... not bad."
