George Strait Announces 'Strait To Vegas' Tour Dates, New Album And Single

MCA NASHVILLE artist GEORGE STRAIT has announced a “STRAIT TO VEGAS” series of concert dates at the soon-to-be opened, 19,000-seat LAS VEGAS ARENA, set for APRIL 22nd and 23rd 2016 and again on SEPTEMBER 9th and 10th. It’s a return to the stage for STRAIT, whose final-ever tour stop took place last year at AT&T STADIUM in DALLAS, where he played to 104,793 fans. That figure shattered the existing attendance record for an indoor concert in NORTH AMERICA (87,500) previously held by THE ROLLING STONES (NET NEWS 6/9/14). MERCURY NASHVILLE artist KACEY MUSGRAVES will open the LAS VEGAS shows.
UMG NASHVILLE President CINDY MABE also announced a new album, “Cold Beer Conversation,” will be released FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, with the title track shipped to radio TOMORROW (9/23) as the lead single, The album will be avalable exclusively at WALMART and APPLE MUSIC; it will be STRAIT's first studio album since 2013's "Love Is Everything."
