CBS RADIO/MINNEAPOLIS SVP/Market Mgr. MICK ANSELMO tells ALL ACCESS he has announced his retirement, effective at the end of 2015. ANSELMO oversees the three-station cluster, which includes Country KMNB, Adult Hits KZJK and News/Talk WCCO-A.
“I’m looking forward to what retirement brings, and feel fortunate to have run some of AMERICA’s greatest radio stations,” said ANSELMO. ”I’ll miss my NASHVILLE friends and the music, but the band plays on.” Send congrats to ANSELMO here. No word yet on his successor.
ANSELMO joined CBS RADIO/MINNEAPOLIS in 2008 (NET NEWS 11/11/2008) after spending 25 years with crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL (now iHEARTMEDIA), where he launched Country KEEY. In 2011, ANSELMO oversaw the flip of AC WLTE to KMNB by personally pushing the button which launched BUZ’N as a Country outlet.
