Ke$ha's Lawyer Cites Bill Cosby In Case Against Dr. Luke

With KE$HA requesting an injunction for a NEW YORK court to make a preliminary determination regarding the merit of her lawsuit against DR. LUKE, her lawyer compared her situation to one of BILL COSBY's alleged victims as the singer's fans took to TWITTER (#FreedomForKesha) to express their support for her demand to be released from her contracts with the producer's SONY MUSIC-distributed KEMOSABE RECORDS label.

KE$HA’s lawyer compared her situtation to that of BILL COSBY’s victims. In an interview with THE DAILY BEAST, MARK GERAGOS said, “[DR. LUKE] used her, abused her, and that’s how he operates. Ask anybody who’s ever worked with him throughout all this litigation. I defy you to find one artist who has come to his defense.”

CHRISTINA LEPERA, from DR. LUKE’s legal team, responded. “It was KE$HA who chose to file a lawsuit falsely alleging abuse to gain advantage in contract negotiations. And now she must accept the consequences of her improper actions.”

GERAGOS responded with the COSBY analogy, saying the statement from DR. LUKE's lawyers blames the victim for "causing her own problems."
