iHEARTMEDIA TAMPA BAY has inked longtime News-Talk WFLA-A/TAMPA morning co-host JACK HARRIS to another three-year deal to continue with the station.
HARRIS has been on TAMPA radio for over 45 years, joining WFLA in SEPTEMBER 1970 and working at WRBQ (Q-105), WFLA-F/WFLZ in its POWER PIG days, and for the last 22 years at WFLA in mornings, currently with TEDD WEBB and COREY DYLAN as co-hosts and AARON JACOBSEN, JEFF KUYRKENDALL, DAISY ASH, JOHN CONRAD and CHRIS TRENKMANN on the “AM TAMPA BAY” team.
"I’ve been mighty lucky to have had this much time on the air in this market. The people here, both colleagues and listeners and viewers, have been so terrific toward me over the years," said HARRIS.
"JACK HARRIS is an icon in the TAMPA BAY market. Re-signing JACK to insure he continues as the cornerstone of WFLA AM for the foreseeable future was top priority for us," said Market Pres. SAM NEIN. "Having completed that is something we are very happy to share and celebrate with his many listeners, clients and friends!"
