Bill Simmons Podcast To Return October 1st

The BILL SIMMONS podcast is returning to action on OCTOBER 1st with two episodes, the erstwhile GRANTLAND chief and ESPN commentator announced on his Twitter feed.

The BOSTON GLOBE's CHAD FINN reports that the show, which was called "THE B.S. REPORT" at GRANTLAND, will be known as "THE BILL SIMMONS PODCAST."  The debut will include two episodes, and FINN adds that they will be followed by two more on OCTOBER 2nd, then the show will settle into three episodes per week.  Some of SIMMONS' regular features, including "COUSIN SAL" IACONO's weekly visit and JOE HOUSE's football picks, will be returning on the new version of the show.
