Bubba The Love Sponge 'Best Of' Show Running Today Following Friday's Nielsen Allegations, Nielsen To Delay Market Data

On FRIDAY (NET NEWS 9/25), ALL ACCESS reported that NIELSEN had leveled some very serious allegations of inappropriate conduct/contact between BEASLEY Rocker WBRN (98.7 NO RULES RADIO)/TAMPA morning man BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE and at least one NIELSEN RADIO PPM household.

TODAY (9/28) ALL ACCESS has confirmed that the show airing is a "Best Of," and there's no word on when BUBBA will be returning to the airwaves live. BUBBA was in "Best Of" mode on FRIDAY (9/25), as well, telling FOX 13 NEWS/TAMPA that he was unaware of the allegations and was off the air for "treatment of an injury following a fall."

On FRIDAY, BEASLEY released the following statement to ALL ACCESS: "We have been made aware of the allegations and are in the process of investigating. We have no additional comments at this time."

NIELSEN released a statement TODAY (9/28) confirming the data is being released at a later date, writing, "NIELSEN AUDIO SEPTEMBER monthly and SEPTEMBER Week 4 weeklies PPM (PORTABLE PEOPLE METER) data release for the TAMPA-ST. PETERSBURG-CLEARWATER market will be rescheduled to allow for completion of additional Quality Assurance steps. TAMPA-ST. PETERSBURG-CLEARWATER data had been scheduled to release TOMORROW (TUESDAY 9/29/15) at 12p (ET). An updated delivery schedule for the market will be provided when these steps have been completed.  All other PPM markets will release as scheduled."

BUBBA has not returned a call to ALL ACCESS.
