CBS RADIO will host a special acoustic concert, "STARS AND STRINGS" to celebrate VETERANS DAY and to honor AMERICAN heroes and their families on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th at the CHICAGO THEATRE. Headlining performers include DIERKS BENTLEY, GARY ALLAN, HUNTER HAYES, JAKE OWEN, JUSTIN MOORE, KIP MOORE, LEE BRICE, LITTLE BIG TOWN and THE BAND PERRY, with more artists to be announced.
Presenting "STARS AND STRINGS" is the UNITED ASSOCIATION'S VETERANS IN PIPING PROGRAM, which offers returning veterans a career in the UNION PIPE TRADES. A portion of the proceeds will go to FOLDS OF HONOR, which provides educational support to spouses and children of deceased and wounded soldiers. CBS RADIO VP/Country Programming and WUSN/CHICAGO PD JEFF KAPUGI said, "Our service men and women sacrifice every day to protect our country, and they deserve our appreciation and gratitude. STARS AND STRINGS will salute and honor their efforts, as well as provide support and awareness to a very important and worthwhile cause." For more information, visit the show's official website here.
