This year's "CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS" will tape in front of a live audience on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7th at 6p (CT). The show will move to the GRAND OLE OPRY HOUSE, where doors will open at 5p (CT). The concert will then air during the holiday season on ABC-TV.
The concert will once again serve as a collection point for the U.S. MARINE CORPS' TOYS FOR TOTS program. In 2014, through a partnership with ABC TELEVISION NETWORK, CMA collected more than 5,000 unwrapped gifts for deserving children in the region.
"The special will tape on a new day and in a new venue this year," remarked CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. "The OPRY was the home of the CMA AWARDS for many years, and it is nice to be back. And taping the show on SATURDAY is more convenient for NASHVILLE families who have made this part of their holiday traditions. Providing new toys for deserving children shines a spotlight on a worthy endeavor and reflects the values and spirit of giving found in our artists, industry, and city."
