As ALL ACCESS first reported last night (9/29). CUMULUS Country KSCS/DALLAS PD/OM JR SCHUMANN has shuffled the lineup on both stations, starting with the addition of JASMINE SADRY to “HAWKEYE IN THE MORNING.” SADRY joined current morning teamers MARK “HAWKEYE” LOUIS and KATELYN “CONNECTED K” MAIDA beginning TODAY (9/30).
Concurrently, KSCS morning show producer TRAPPER JOHN MORRIS will segue to afternoons, succeeding SCHUMANN, who comes off the air to focus on programming responsibilities for KSCS and now, KPLX. MARK PHILLIPS had been handling KPLX programming but will focus on his afternoon show there, plus an added role handling a shift on WESTWOOD ONE's "Real Country" format.
“I can’t begin to express how excited we are to have JASMINE join our team,” said SCHUMANN “She embodies the passion and creativity that is crucial to radio’s success in this market, and is already loved by tens of thousands of listeners in this market. As we’ve been continuously working on taking KSCS to the next level, I have no doubt in my mind that JASMINE is absolutely the next piece to that puzzle.”
A DALLAS radio vet, SADRY comes from iHEARTMEDIA crosstown Alternative KDGE, where she was part of the “JAGGER” morning show in various forms for more than 10 years. “At the now 15-year mark of my radio career, I am thrilled to join the extremely talented team at KSCS, an iconic station that has carried such a tremendous heritage in the DALLAS-FORT WORTH community and beyond,” said SADRY. “And I'm deeply honored to be able to work alongside HAWKEYE, an extraordinary talent who I and so many others have admired for years!" Send congrats here.
