CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist DIERKS BENTLEY celebrated his 10th anniversary as a member of the GRAND OLE OPRY yesterday (9/29). BENTLEY performed his hits from the past decade and even brought his dog JAKE out on stage during his set. BENTLEY was presented with a commemorative print by 54-year OPRY member BILL ANDERSON. "The OPRY is my home," said BENTLEY. "This means the world to me TONIGHT. We've been on the road so much of the past 10 years it's good to be home."
The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) "Male Vocalist of the Year" nominee said he'll never forget his early days as a fan. "We leave the door to our dressing room wide open, so people can come in and say 'hi.' And if we're not getting ready, then I want to be out on the stage watching the other bands -- just remembering what it feels like to be a part of the audience. I don't ever want to lose that feeling of being a fan."
