GM Extends Support For HD Radio In New 2016 Chevrolet And GMC Trucks

iBIQUITY DIGITAL CORPORATION is rolling out HD RADIO technology in four all-new GENERAL MOTORS pickups.
The CHEVROLET SILVERADO and SILVERADO HD offer HD RADIO receivers on the eight-inch CHEVROLET MYLINK infotainment system, which is standard on the LT trim level and above. In addition, the GMC SIERRA and SIERRA HD offer HD RADIO receivers on the eight-inch GMC INTELLILINK infotainment system, which comes standard on the SLE trim level and above.
“We’re excited to see GENERAL MOTORS continue to expand HD RADIO technology offerings in their vehicle lineups,” said iBIQUITY COO JEFF JURY. “We look forward to bringing the HD RADIO experience to more GENERAL MOTORS customers with these popular truck models. This brings to 14 the number of GM vehicle lines offering HD RADIO receivers.”
