WMGK/Philadelphia's Big Bad Bonfire Returns

Big Bad Bonfire Is Oct 17th

GREATER MEDIA's Classic Rock WMGK/PHILADELPHIA is proud to announce that last year's extremely successful BIG BAD BONFIRE will return to SPRING MOUNTAIN on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17th. It's a free fall celebration centered around a huge bonfire that will be crowned with a 12-foot-high flaming guitar. This year's guitar will be modeled after ANGUS YOUNG of ACDC’s ‘axe’. 

Throughout the event, attendees will be able to meet the MGK air staff and rock out to MGK's House Band, TOMMY FROELECH TRIO while enjoying delicious offerings from five food trucks as well as cold brews from the large outdoor beer bar.

One of the day's main attractions will be morning man JOHN DEBELLA's Wife Carry. The Wife Carry is when a man carries his wife through an obstacle course (created by the JOHN DEBELLA SHOW) in hopes of achieving the fastest time. The couple with the fastest time wins $250 in cash plus the wife's weight in beer.
