The Circuit Court of ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO has appointed DETALUS CONSULTING LLC as receiver for GRAND SLAM SPORTS, LLC, licensee of silent KFNS-A/WOOD RIVER-ST. LOUIS and Sports KXFN-A (1380 TALKSTL.COM)/ST. LOUIS. The receivership is the result of creditor TRIAD BANK's motion after the bank sued GRAND SLAM for breach of promissory notes and owners DANIEL MARSHALL, JEFFREY SMITH, WILLIAM HOWARD, TODD ROBBINS, ROBERT JOHNSON JR. RICHARD LEHMAN, former RAMS player ORLANDO PACE, LUCY MITCHELL, and former BLUES star KEITH TKACHUK for breach of guaranty agreements, based on two promissory notes, one for $1 million and the other for $100,000. The receiver told the FCC that it is in "discussions with two separate entities for the acquisition of each station."
In other filings with the FCC, RADIO 74 INTERNATIONALE is selling K295BI/KEARNEY, NE to NEBRASKA RURAL RADIO ASSOCIATION for $22,500. The station will rebroadcast Farm-News-Talk KRVN-A/LEXINGTON, NE.
