We may not know how the night will play out or who will walk away with the coveted hardware from "THE 49TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS" on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4th, but we do finally know what will happen in those opening 15 minutes, beginning at 8p (ET). "If you don't see the first 15 minutes of the 'CMA AWARDS' live, you will be grasping for straws at the proverbial watercooler the next morning," said CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. "It is that good, and it is just the beginning of a great night of entertainment."

Live on ABC-TV, "THE 49TH ANNUAL CMA AWARDS" will kick off with a performance from CMA AWARD nominee ERIC CHURCH (NET NEWS 9/9) with HANK WILLIAMS, JR., who will world-premiere his new NASH ICON release. Following the performance, hosts BRAD PAISLEY and CARRIE UNDERWOOD will launch in to their always-anticipated opening monologue. Depending upon who you voted for, this may be the biggest 15 minutes of the three-hour extravaganza.
