Sports radio veteran JOHN FRICKE and former PHILADELPHIA EAGLES and NEW YORK JETS star and ESPN commentator HUGH DOUGLAS are moving from weekend nights to mornings at CBS RADIO Sports WZGC (92.9 THE GAME)/ATLANTA.
FRICKE, a former CNN anchor and FOX SPORTS RADIO host who joined THE GAME at its 2011 inception, and DOUGLAS, who has hosted at CBS RADIO Sports WIP/PHILADELPHIA and reported at FOX O&O WTXF-TV (FOX 29)/PHILADELPHIA before his ESPN stint and has been with THE GAME since last year, replace MARC JAMES and RANDY CROSS; JAMES has exited and CROSS, the former SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS center and guard, is joining RICK KAMLA to co-host middays on THE GAME.
“The FRICKE and HUGH team are our highest rated weekend show,” said PD TERRY FOXX. “Their chemistry clearly resonates with our listeners and we are excited to bring them on to a larger stage so more people can enjoy their insightful and entertaining take on sports.”
