Bubba The Love Sponge Apologizes Over Nielsen Ratings Distortion Mess

BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE held a short press conference at 11a this morning to address the fallout after being found guilty of attempted NIELSEN ratings distortion activity. BTLS, speaking in a very humble and heartfelt manner, showed a lot of emotion during the presentation. He answered no questions during the press conference, which lasted less that two minutes.

BUBBA said he always tries "to be real with my listeners," and to be honest -- holding people "to a high standard." He then admitted that he "should be held to those standards" as well. He said he owed the truth to his listeners, fans and advertisers, admitting he was caught by NIELSEN, and, "with regret the accusations are true."

Continuing, BTLS noted that even though NIELSEN said his conduct didn't affect ratings, he took responsibility, and apologized to BEASLEY, advertisers and staff, saying, "I let everybody down," before assuring he would do what it takes to make things right.

BUBBA wrapped things up saying he wasn't sure what future holds, but was sorry he let everybody down, again asking forgiveness.
