The NHL's ST LOUIS BLUES have inked a multi-year deal with CBS RADIO's ST. LOUIS cluster that starts with this season and expands the existing game carriage agreement with News-Talk KMOX-A/ST. LOUIS to include new BLUES-related programming, including three new weekly in-season shows and a 30-minute postgame show, plus marketing opportunities on Hot AC KYKY (Y98) and AC KEZK. CHRIS KERBER and KELLY CHASE continue to call the action, with both also included on the new programming along with JOHN KELLY, DARREN PANG and BERNIE FEDERKO.
“This agreement continues and expands a powerful partnership between the BLUES and KMOX, two of the most recognizable and iconic brands in ST. LOUIS,” said BLUES Pres./CEO/Business Operations CHRIS ZIMMERMAN. “More importantly, it offers BLUES fans exciting new programming and even more ways to connect to the team. Fans will also see the BLUES and all three CBS RADIO/ST. LOUIS stations joining forces at great events throughout the community on both sides of the river. We’re thrilled to continue such a strong partnership with KMOX and CBS RADIO/ST. LOUIS.”
“KMOX is proud to be the home for ST. LOUIS BLUES Hockey for years to come,” said CBS SVP/Market Manager JOHN SHEEHAN. “The change in BLUES ownership has only strengthened our bond with the organization. We are excited to align KMOX with the passionate ownership and leadership team at the BLUES, and are honored to broadcast BLUES Hockey on KMOX’s booming signal to help grow the BLUES and NHL fan base across the ST. LOUIS region and well beyond.”
